New York has recently enacted new legislation designed to enhance employment opportunities for ex-offenders by increasing protection for applicants/employees with criminal convictions. Please be advised that many schools will be closed December 19, 2008 through January 2, 2009. Courthouses and Employers experience reduced work forces during that same time period which may cause delays in turnaround time.
